Why we only do five breeds
Royal Paws Kennel didn’t start as a business plan. It started with one Maltese, a lot of research, and a decision to do this properly or not at all. Years later, we’ve stayed small and specialized on purpose — Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Malteses, Maltipoos, and Poodles are what we know inside and out, from their health screening needs to the personality quirks that make each breed a good fit for a different kind of home.
Every litter is born and raised inside our house, not in a barn or a kennel building out back. Puppies hear vacuum cleaners, meet children, ride in cars, and get handled daily from the week they’re born, because a puppy that’s calm and confident on day fifty-six is a puppy that settles into your home in days, not months.
We also believe the relationship doesn’t end when you pick up your puppy. We’re a phone call away for the life of your dog — for training questions, health questions, or just to see a picture of how big they’ve gotten.
